Inter CT FC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Marc Davis as the new Girls' Director for the club. With a strong background in youth soccer and the collegiate game. Marc has a passion and a track record for developing young talent.
Davis, who will now assist Marty Walker at Division 1 Iona Women's soccer is now finally able to join the ranks at Inter CT, having previously coached Mitchell College and Southeast Soccer Club in New London.
Whilst at Mitchell College, Marc won "New England Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year " in 2021 and at High School level captured three Eastern Connecticut Conference Division 'M' titles, an ECC Tournament championship and a Connecticut State championship for Montville High School. During his tenure he also worked with three All-American players.
"We are excited to welcome Marc Davis to our team as the Girls' Director," said Leon Othen, "Having worked with Marc since 2008, I know how valuable he is to any program and Marty and I have been trying to get him over to Inter CT since we took over in 2019."
As Girls' Director, Davis will oversee all aspects of the girls' program, including player development, coaching staff management, and strategic planning. His detailed approach and focus on individual player growth will ensure that every girl at Inter CT FC has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
